Please do not come to any Adelphi location if you are sick.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Students should contact the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/health\/\">Health Services Center<\/a> at <strong>516.877.6003<\/strong> for further guidance.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Students should inform their professors and make arrangements for missed coursework.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Employees should contact their healthcare provider for further guidance.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Employees should inform their manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>See the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/your-health\/if-you-were-exposed.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CDC\u2019s guidance for what to do when you are exposed<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>On Campus Isolation<\/h2>\n<p>Those who test positive for COVID-19 are required to isolate. Please do not come to any Adelphi location if you are sick.<\/p>\n<p>See the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/your-health\/isolation.html?CDC_AA_refVal=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cdc.gov%2Fcoronavirus%2F2019-ncov%2Fyour-health%2Fquarantine-isolation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CDC\u2019s guidance on isolation<\/a> which is the same regardless of vaccination status and community transmission level.<\/p>\n<p>For resident students, Adelphi maintains an allotment of on-campus isolation rooms for those who cannot return home to recover. As per Nassau County, resident students in isolation are not be permitted outside of their room except in the event of necessary medical care.<\/p>\n<p>Students in isolation on campus may use their meal plan to purchase meals. Meal delivery will be coordinated by Dining Services, Residence Life and Housing, Health Services, and the Office of Public Safety.<\/p>\n<p>Students who wish to have laundry picked up, cleaned, and delivered back to them while in isolation, may do so via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.happynest.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HappyNest.com<\/a> at their own cost.
