All university personnel that are permitted to operate a university-owned, non-owned, or rented vehicle must take a NYS-sanctioned Defensive Driving Course every three (3) years. The training program has been transitioned from a 6-hour in-person University provided class to a selection of courses offered by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicle, which can be taken either online or in a classroom setting. To complete a course and receive your certificate please choose a provider on the NYS DMV Approved Courses page<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Upon completion of a course, please bring a copy of your certificate to the Department of Public Safety & Transportation in Levermore Hall\u2019s first floor or send via email to askpublicsafety@adelphi.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n
