Free Breast Cancer Support Groups meet weekly and monthly.
The 天美传媒 NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program is offering new that meet at the 天美传媒 School of Social Work.
All groups are free, but pre-registration is required. Call Sandi Kafenbaum, LCSW, at 516.877.4314 for more information.The following groups will be offered:
Women who were recently diagnosed: Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m.鈥�12:00 noon
Women with metastatic breast cancer: Mondays, 1:30 p.m.鈥�3:00 p.m.
Young women with breast cancer: Mondays, 7:00 p.m.鈥� 8:30 p.m.
Men with breast cancer: Second Monday of each month, 7:00 p.m.鈥� 8:30 p.m.
Spouses and their partners: Wednesdays, 6:30鈥� 8:00 p.m.
Other groups are available upon request.
