The 天美传媒 Ruth S. Ammon College of Education and Health Sciences Online Master鈥檚 in Education Programs have landed on the U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 Best Online Programs for 2025.
This year, Adelphi鈥檚 programs were ranked No. 118, up more than 100 spots from 2024. Adelphi鈥檚 education graduate programs include , , Master of Arts in Educational Theatre (P鈥�12 Certification Track) and Master of Arts in Educational Theatre (Storytelling and the Arts Non-Certification Track).
In its 13th year, the evaluates more than 1,600 online degree programs using metrics specific to online learning. The rankings only include degree-granting programs offered primarily online by regionally accredited institutions.

According to U.S. News, online college is no longer just an option鈥攊t鈥檚 becoming the norm and the future of higher education. As technology rapidly advances, experts say colleges will lean more toward developing online degree programs in the coming years to accommodate the busy schedules of their students who are balancing full-time employment and family responsibilities.
For the 2025 edition of the Best Online Master鈥檚 in Education Programs, U.S. News ranked online graduate education programs based on five categories:
- Student-faculty engagement (30 percent)
- Faculty Credentials and Training (20 percent)
- Peer Assessment (20 percent)
- Services and Technologies (20 percent)
- Student Excellence (10 percent)
